Almost everyone would say, “Of course, when running a company, it's essential to have a good strategy!” Surprisingly, however, many companies tend to take a rather casual approach to strategy: strategy is developed based on gut feeling and is not clearly written down. As a result, each manager may develop their own interpretation of where the company should be headed—and how.
