Robots that load thousands of parcels or take over entire assembly jobs. This is no longer a science fiction scenario. And what about mobile robots?
They too will find their way into our professional and private lives in the near future.

But what does that mean for us? And for our ideas of work, ethics and interaction?
Marc Theermann is working on answers to precisely these questions. As Chief Strategy Officer at Boston Dynamics, he is shaping a present in which robots like Stretch already perform specific tasks such as dangerous warehouse work better than humans. And in the future, robots will be able to do even more: for example, as empathetic companion robots in the care sector.

The big goal: in the near future, robots should not only be where we are. They should also be able to perform several tasks at the same time.
