The 4-billion-euro construction project for Terminal 3 at Frankfurt Airport got off to a rocky start: During the construction period, COVID-19 lockdowns, the war in Ukraine, and a wave of inflation rocked the project. 

“The abyss we looked into at the start of the COVID-19 crisis was very deep,” recalls project manager Harald Rohr. In this podcast, he explains how he and his team nevertheless managed to complete the mega-project—unlike, for example, Stuttgart 21 or Berlin’s BER Airport—on time and within budget.
