Every transformation, every turnaround is carefully planned. This is important in order to get all stakeholders on board, especially the financiers, of course. But the truth is that most plans are quickly overtaken by reality, and may even fail.
Nevertheless, it is still important to plan – but to plan correctly, according to transformation experts Marc-René Faerber and Benjamin Niethammer, following the motto of US General and President Dwight D. Eisenhower: “The plan is nothing, but planning is everything.”
